Do only 6 litre kegs fit in the PerfectDraft beer tap unit?

Yes, only the PerfectDraft beer kegs with a capacity of 6 litres are compatible with the PerfectDraft beer tap unit. These kegs are pressure kegs and have been specially developed for the PerfectDraft beer dispenser models. Other kegs with different capacities cannot be used with the PerfectDraft.

Where can I buy the kegs for the PerfectDraft beer dispensers?

The matching 6-litre kegs are available from specialist beverage retailers - or from online retailers. A large selection of different beer brands is available here, for example.

What and how many different types of beer are available for the PerfectDraft beer tap unit?

PerfectDraft's range currently includes around 40 different beers and offers you variety in your beer tastings with its different beer styles (pilsner, wheat beer, IPA, pale ale, lager, etc.). The available beer kegs also include some of the most popular european beer brands, such as Beck's, Löwenbräu, Hasseröder or Franziskaner. Where can I return the empty kegs for the PerfectDraft beer tap unit?

Each PerfectDraft beer keg has a deposit value of 5 euros. You can get the deposit when you return your kegs to a specialist drinks shop - or online here.

How long does the PerfectDraft take to cool a keg of beer?

At room temperature it takes about 12 hours for a keg to cool down to 3 °C. However, kegs can be pre-cooled in the refrigerator before being placed in the tap. The refrigerator temperature is normally 6° C. An LED display shows you the current temperature of the beer. However, you can of course tap your beer even if the 3 °C has not yet been reached.

Should I disconnect the PerfectDraft from the power supply if I don't use it for several days?

If the tap system is not used for a longer period of time, it can be taken off the power without any problems and then switched on again if necessary. In the meantime, the beer keg can continue to be cooled in the refrigerator. The beer remains fresh in the keg for 30 days after opening, even if it is temporarily removed from the dispenser.

How big is the PerfectDraft beer tap unit?

The PerfectDraft beer tap unit HD3720/25 has a slim design and can therefore be easily placed in the kitchen or living area.

Do I have to buy a CO₂ cylinder to use the PerfectDraft beer dispenser?

No. You do not need a CO2 cylinder or CO2 capsules for tapping with the PerfectDraft but only a fresh beer keg.

How loud is the PerfectDraft beer tap unit?

The PerfectDraft beer tap unit is very quiet, but there is a noise shortly after the beer is poured as the machine maintains the pressure. This happens occasionally even when no beer is being poured in order to maintain the pressure permanently. However, if the tap is not used for a longer period of time, it can easily be disconnected from the power supply and the keg can continue to be cooled in the refrigerator in the meantime. The beer will still remain fresh for 30 days.

To what temperature is the beer cooled with the PerfectDraft beer dispenser?

The PerfectDraft beer dispenser keeps the temperature constant at 3° C. This is the perfect drinking temperature for a delicious, cool draught beer. At room temperature, it takes about 12 hours for a keg to cool down to 3 °C. However, kegs can be pre-cooled in the refrigerator before being put on tap. The refrigerator temperature is normally 6° C. An LED display shows you the current temperature of the beer. Individual adjustment of the refrigerator temperature is not possible, but of course you can tap your beer even if the 3 °C has not yet been reached.

Is it easy to change the kegs of the PerfectDraft beer tap unit?

Replacing the PerfectDraft 6 litre kegs is very easy and done within a minute. First, simply remove the lid from your new keg. A new hygiene kit is supplied with each keg. Insert the hose into the tap unit with tap, then press the tap unit firmly onto the new keg and finally click the keg including tap unit firmly into the machine. Wait until the keg has cooled down, then pour yourself some beer.

What is the power (watts) and pressure (bar) of the PerfectDraft beer dispenser?

The PerfectDraft beer tap unit HD3720/25 has a maximum power of 70 watts and a maximum operating pressure of 1.5 bar.
