What is BrewExract technology?
BrewExtract technology creates the intensity of café-made coffee by dosing and pressing more beans¹. As a result, you'll get more flavor.
What is the barista assistant?
Barista assistant is an expert helper that you can use via your machine, or via the HomeID app. Tell it which beans you're using and let it adjust the brew settings so they match perfectly. You'll find even more features on the HomeID app.
What's the difference between cold brew and iced coffee?
Philips Café Aromis prepares cold brew by using water at ambient temperature and slowing down the flow rate. This is what gives it that sweeter, smoother flavor profile. Iced coffee, on the otherhand, is made by brewing an espresso at a a slower rate than a regular hot coffee, which creates a different flavor profile to cold brew. You'll find both cold brew coffee and iced coffee under Cold Drinks in the Philips Café Aromis menu.
What's the difference between LatteGo Pro hot and cold carafes?
Philips Café Aromis comes with a cold and hot carafe so you get cafe-quality results for both hot and cold drinks.
Although they might look similar, we've designed them with slight differences, so the texture, temperature and froth ratio is just right for a cold drink when you use the cold carafe and vice versa.
What's the difference between LatteGo and LatteGo Pro?
LatteGo and LatteGo Pro are both milk systems available on Philips Fully Automatic Espresso Machines.
Both create velvety smooth milk froth and are easy to clean.
Unlike LatteGo, our newly designed LatteGo Pro delivers cafe-quality results for both hot and cold drinks, allowing you to brew a wider variety of recipes.
